New Delhi, 29 August (Hindustan Times). Due to the expectation of relief package in China and Japan, positive signs are visible from the global market today. All three Wall Street indices closed strongly during the previous trading session. Similarly, there was a bullish atmosphere in the European market as well. Asian markets are also seen trading generally strong today.
During the last trading session, there was a continuous ups and downs in Wall Street. However, after a positive statement from the US Federal Reserve regarding interest rates, the US market became bullish. Dow Jones Futures is currently trading at a level of 34,579.39 points with a gain of 0.06 percent. On the other hand, the S&P 500 index ended the previous session’s trade at a level of 4,433.31 points with a gain of 0.63 per cent. Similarly, the Nasdaq closed at a level of 13,705.13 points with a strength of 0.84 percent.
The European market also continued to trade strongly during the previous session. The FTSE index closed at 7,338.58 points, up 0.07 percent. Similarly, the CAC index jumped 1.30 percent to end the previous session’s trade at 7,324.71 points. Apart from this, the DAX index closed at a level of 15,792.61 points with a strength of 1.02 percent.
There is generally a strong atmosphere in the Asian markets today. GIFT Nifty is trading at a level of 19,355 points with a strength of 0.01 percent. Similarly, the Nikkei index has gained 117.52 points, or 0.37 percent, to reach 32,287.51 points. The Straits Times Index is also seen trading at a level of 3,224.74 points, up 0.34 percent in the trading so far.
The Hang Seng index has made a big jump of 365.52 points i.e. 1.98 percent today. At present, this index is seen trading at the level of 18,496.26 points. Similarly, the Shanghai Composite Index is trading at a level of 3,141.82 points with a strength of 1.37 percent. Apart from this, the Taiwan Weighted Index gained 0.17 percent to 16,537.007 points, the Kospi Index rose 0.31 percent to 2,551.31 points, the Set Composite Index gained 0.58 percent to 1,572.30 points and the Jakarta Composite Index gained 0.40 percent. Trading at the level of 6,951.52 points.
