Poh Chee Chuan, executive director of exhibitions and conventions at the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), said they have two offices in Mumbai and Delhi. With these, Indians are being encouraged to holiday in Singapore.
Singapore is building infrastructure for tourists and business travelers. For this, 9,000 new hotel rooms are being added. At present there are approximately 72,000 rooms here. Poh said Singapore is also focusing on business travelers as trade between the two countries is growing and the Indian economy is growing rapidly.
