ITBP posts on the border will keep an eye on the Chinese border and preparations for this have also been made. According to sources, this project will start from Mago, a village in Tawang district in Arunachal Pradesh. This is the first village close to the border of China. For the first time in the year 2020, an all-weather road has been built. The Central Government has approved the proposal for spying on the border. Its name will be Border Intelligence Post. These posts will be made at the posts of Indo Tibetan Border Police and from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh.

Four-five Intelligence Bureau officers will be deployed at each border intelligence post and ITBP personnel will protect them. Intelligence Bureau officials will keep an eye on every activity crossing the border. Will monitor China. Will collect information and send its news to the Intelligence Bureau and the government. The reason for setting up spying posts from Ladakh to LAC post is the increasing infiltration of the Chinese army. The armies of both the countries have clashed several times in the last few years on the India-China border. ITBP has about 180 border posts on the India-China border. Recently, approval has been given to create 45 new posts.

The top official quoted above did not disclose the exact number of BIPs and the budget approved for it by the Centre. But he said that gradually all sensitive BOPs will have these specially trained intelligence officers, who will have access to the latest surveillance equipment. The development comes in the wake of China projecting its power along the LAC, provoking India through regular infiltration attempts and pressuring it to build military infrastructure such as airfields and missile sites on the other side of the border.
