Ration was being distributed in Karachi on Friday as well, where a large number of people gathered. The sacks of flour were less, while there were a large number of people who took them. Everyone wanted a sack for themselves, which led to a stampede. In this stampede, women and children fell on the ground. People kept passing over them without looking, due to which 3 children and 8 women have died.
