Top gainers of NIFTY

On NSE Nifty, CIPLA shares are up by 3.53 per cent, INDUSINBK by 3.01 per cent, TECHM by 2.29 per cent, WIPRO by 2.29 per cent, BHARTIARTL by 2.05.

There was a break in these stocks on NIFTY

On the NSE Nifty, SBIN declined by 2.93 per cent, BAJAJ-AUTO by 2.53 per cent, BPCL by 2.04 per cent, MARUTI by 1.01 per cent and NTPC by 0.95 per cent.

Indian rupee gains

The Indian rupee settled marginally at 82.84 per dollar, up marginally by 0.10 paise over its previous close at the interbank foreign exchange market.
