Sensex has a gain of about 200 points. Sensex climbed 165.50 points to 59,271.94 in early trade, Nifty was trading at 17,450.80 with a gain of 52.75 points.

Federal Bank
Private sector lender Federal Bank has announced total deposits of Rs 2.13 lakh crore for the March FY23 quarter, up 17.4 per cent over Q4FY22. Customer deposits (total deposits excluding interbank deposits and certificates of deposit) grew by 13.3 per cent YoY to Rs 2.01 lakh crore. Gross advances grew 20.2 per cent YoY to Rs 1.77 lakh crore. The retail loan grew by 18.6 per cent and the wholesale loan book grew by 22.2 per cent.
Britannia
Britannia Industries, which manufactures food items like biscuits, bread, has declared an interim dividend of Rs 72 per share for the financial year 2022-23. The company’s board of directors in its meeting held on Tuesday decided to pay an interim dividend of Rs 72 per share of face value of Re 1 for 2022-23. The record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for interim dividend payment is April 13, 2023. In the financial year 2021-22, Britannia Industries had given an interim dividend of Rs 56.50 per share.
Zomato
Electric bike sharing startup Yulu has partnered with Zomato. Under this, Yulu will supply 25-30 thousand units of its proposed e-scooter deck to Zomato. Yulu said that after the deployment of these e-scooters by 2026, food can be delivered to about 3 lakh people every day without harming the environment. According to the company, youth aspiring to work as delivery partners face several hurdles due to rising fuel costs and financial challenges.
Maruti Suzuki
Vehicle safety group Global NCAP on Tuesday awarded one and two star safety ratings to Maruti Suzuki India’s (MSI) popular models – ‘WagonR’ and ‘Alto K10’ for occupant protection following crash tests. Both the models have been awarded ‘zero’ star for child safety in the latest round of crash tests by Global NCAP. However, Maruti has maintained that its vehicles meet India’s crash safety regulations. These regulations are in line with European standards. Global NCAP assigns a zero to five rating to a vehicle based on its safety features.
TVS Motor Company
The Singapore arm of motorcycle major TVS Motor Company has announced the acquisition of 25 per cent stake in German electric transport products and components startup Kilwatt GmbH. TVS Motor (Singapore) will acquire 25 per cent stake in Kilwatt GmbH in the form of newly issued shares, the company said. These shares will be bought at a cash price of EUR 235.29 per share. Overall, the deal works out to around 20 lakh Euros (around Rs 18 crore).
