In today’s trade, Bank, Financial, IT, Pharma indices are in green on Nifty. While Auto, FMCG, Metal, Realty index is in red mark. HCL Tech
Information technology company HCL Tech has earned a profit of Rs 3983 crore in the March quarter of FY 2023, which is 10.85 percent higher than Rs 3599 crore in the same period a year ago. However, compared to the December quarter, the company’s profit declined by 3 per cent. The company’s profit in the December quarter was Rs 4096 crore. Operating income grew by about 18 per cent year-on-year to Rs 26,606 crore.
Orient Green
Orient Green Power Company has incurred a net loss of Rs 18.97 crore in the March quarter of the last financial year. The company had posted a loss of Rs 32.35 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company’s total income stood at Rs 46.45 crore, as against Rs 40.20 crore in the same period a year ago. The total expenditure of the company increased to Rs 71.99 crore as against Rs 70.88 crore incurred in the corresponding period last year.
MHDFC Bank
HDFC Bank said that the Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Kaizad Bharucha as Deputy Managing Director of the bank for a period of 3 years. HDFC Bank said in a communication sent to the stock exchanges that the bank has appointed Bhavesh Jhaveri as executive director. RBI approved the appointment of Kaizad Bharucha as Deputy Managing Director of the bank for three years with effect from April 19, 2023.
Zomato
Most of the stores of Blinkit, a quick delivery company of home use goods, have started operations. Earlier, these stores were hit by a strike by delivery partners. Zomato gave this information to the stock markets. Last year, Zomato had acquired Blinkit (earlier Grofers India).
Tata Power
Power company Tata Power has partnered with the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation to set up 20 public Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations in Coimbatore. With the installation of these EV charging stations in Tamil Nadu, the total number of EV charging stations set up by Tata Power in Tamil Nadu will increase to 116.
