Surat: Awareness seminar on ‘Breast Cancer’ organized by the Women Entrepreneur Cell of the Chamber.  Loktej Surat, Business News

Women Entrepreneur Cell of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an awareness session as well as a business presentation meeting on ‘Breast Cancer’ at Vama Wellness Center for Women, Piplod on Friday. In which expert Dr. Rupal Shah discussed the worrying increase in cases of breast cancer in women and suggested measures for women to prevent it.

Dr. Rupal Shah said that every three minutes a woman is getting breast cancer in India. When the cases of female breast cancer are increasing alarmingly in Gujarat too, women need to be a little cautious. The fight against this cancer can be won with early diagnosis.

He said that cases of breast cancer among women are continuously increasing. Since the month of October is celebrated as ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month’ across the world, women need to be more aware about breast cancer. If women have lumps not only in the breasts but in any part of the body for more than six months, then they should consult a doctor.

She gave some tips for women to check themselves whether they have breast cancer or not. Every woman should examine herself for lumps or roughness around the breast on the fifth day of her period. Also, if a woman is not getting her periods, then it is important for her to go to the doctor for a checkup on any one day of the month.

In the business presentation meeting of Women Entrepreneur Cell, Dr. Ami Yagnik, Dr. Sonia Chandani, Dr. Parul Patel, Dr. Rucha Kapse, Dr. Richa Vaghasia, Dr. Jayalakshmi Chorawala and Jyotsna Gujarati and other women members gave a business presentation.

Kritika Shah, President of the Women Entrepreneur Cell of the Chamber of Commerce, gave the welcome address. Advisor Swati Sethwala presented the outline of the program. Member Manshali introduced the doctors. Member Ankita concluded the session by thanking everyone.
