Engineering Day was celebrated today by Adani Foundation and Adani Port. Today’s special celebration was especially attended by the students of classes nine and ten of the high school of Lakhigam in Waghra taluka. Today’s trip was the first industrial trip for the high school students. All students and teachers had to visit the Adani Safety Acceleration Center located above the port.
Students were provided information about various models of safety and engineering. The Head of the Engineering Services Department gave a detailed information to the students about what engineering is and what an engineer can do through a presentation.
During the visit to Adani Port, Lakhigam School student Divyaben Bhaveshgiri Goswami understood everything with great interest and gave an inspirational message to other students like her by giving a special prize and memento to this student for answering very good questions.
The joint initiative of Security Department, Engineering Department, Administration Department of Dahej Adani Port and Adani Foundation made the event a success.
The school principal and students gave an excellent response and said, “We are extremely grateful to Adani Foundation and Adani Port that for the first time in the Dahej region, high school students have been invited for an inside tour of a company. This visit will be very useful for the students.
