Surat: Grand organization of ‘Industry-2024’ exhibition by Chamber of Commerce. Loktej Surat, Business News

South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry and South Gujarat Chamber Trade & Industry Development Center jointly organized a four-day event on 23rd to 26th February, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center, Sarsana. ‘Industry-2024’ exhibition has been organized.

Vijaybhai Mewawala, Vice President, Chamber of Commerce, gave information about the ‘Industry Exhibition’ and said that South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been successfully organizing various exhibitions for the last 83 years for the development of trade and industry of the entire South. The Chamber’s premier industry exhibition is organized every second year, under which the Chamber has organized a grand ‘Udyog-2024’ this year as the 14th edition of the industry exhibition. A total of 18 exhibitors from Ankleshwar, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Vapi, Valsad, Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Gurugram (Haryana) and Bhopal have participated in the industry exhibition.

A separate pavilion has been allotted in the industry exhibition as ‘3E Expo’. In which products and systems for energy, efficiency and environment will be showcased. He further said that the Chamber of Commerce had successfully organized CITEX-2023, Yarn Expo, Sparkle, Surat Start-up Summit, SGCCI Garment Expo, CITEX-2024, Health & Wellness and Food & Agritech Expo this year. The exhibitors received an overwhelming response in all these eight exhibitions.

The inauguration ceremony of the ‘Industry-2024’ exhibition will be held on Friday. The seminar will be held on 23 February 2024 at 10:00 AM at Hall-A, Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sarsana, Surat. In which the inauguration will be done by Dr. Farooq Patel, Managing Director of KP Energy Limited.

Himanshu Bodawala, immediate past president of the chamber, said that Station Director of Kakrapar Nuclear Power Station (NPCIL) Ajay Kumar Bhole and Chief General Manager of State Bank of India Kshitij Mohan will grace the occasion as special guests. While Arun Choudhary, Director of Industry Interface and Technology Management, Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), General Manager of District Industries Centre-Surat, M.K. Ladani and President of Saurashtra Trade Industry Federation, Parag Tejura will grace the occasion as special guests.

Chamber’s Honorary Minister Nikhil Madrasi and Honorary Treasurer Kiran Thummar informed that the industry exhibition will include textile auxiliaries, electrical, electronics and appliances segment, engineering segment, environment segment, services segment, alternative and renewable energy segment, banking and finance, country, state, Industrial safety services will be displayed by Government PSUs and Corporate Pavilion and manufacturers of their products.

State-of-the-art hardware solution systems for warehouse management, inventory management systems, heat pump hot water high pressure systems for energy savings, scale free heat pumps and 24-hour hot water systems will be displayed, said Bijal Jariwala, chairman of all exhibitions of the chamber. All types of ventilation systems required for textile, diamond, embroidery, dairy and bakery, hotel and jewelery industries will be displayed here.

Chairman of ‘Udyog-2024’ exhibition, Bhavesh Taylor said that automation and robotics, AC and DC drives, cables, switch gear, inverters, UPS and batteries etc. will be showcased in the electrical, electronics and instrumentation segment. Engineering and allied segment includes Machine Tools, Gears and Motors, Textile Accessories, Compressors, Pumps and Valves, Cutting Tools, Machine Tools Accessories, Special Lasers and Additive Manufacturing, Welding Equipment and Consumables, Power Tools and Fasteners, Industrial Hardware Materials. Handling, hazardous waste management and air pollution control systems will be demonstrated.

The services segment will showcase banking, finance and insurance, tourism, logistics and warehousing and IT services. Whereas in the renewable energy section, energy systems related to each industry like solar energy, wind energy, bio energy, water energy, generators, transformers, electrochemical etc. will be showcased.
