South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Ahmedabad in the presence of Senior Vice President Sandeep Engineer, Honorary Minister Apoorva Shah and Honorary Minister Regional Prashant Patel and representatives of various industrial associations of South Gujarat. Interactive Business Growth Meeting was held at Samhati, Sarsana. In which industrial associations made presentations on various outstanding issues facing them.
Officials of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry were apprised of the situation arising out of the recently implemented quality control order in the textile sector. A presentation was also given on environment related issues of waterjet weaving industry. Apart from this, industrialists also gave information about Tough Scheme of Textile. International air connectivity to Surat was also discussed.
South Gujarat Warp Knitters Association gave a presentation on various issues faced by them. A presentation was also given by the industrialists regarding the licensing process of FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India). Representatives of various associations requested for appointment to various committees of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Ramesh Vaghasia, President, South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 project and discussed in detail the importance of this project to increase exports from across the country including Gujarat to strengthen India’s economy.
He said that ‘Chamber to Chamber Conference’ has been organized by the Chamber of Commerce under Mission 84 in the presence of the Union Minister of India at Surat on the next date on 21st October 2023, in which all the Chambers of Commerce and Industry from all over India will be invited. Has been invited. Under Mission 84, officials and representatives of all the Chambers of Commerce of the country will come together on one platform and exchange professional ideas with each other.
Both GCCI and SGCCI agreed to exchange professional ideas with each other. Apart from this, the youth wing of GCCI will come to Surat and after meeting with the youth wing of SGCCI, it was also agreed that both the chambers of commerce will jointly carry out various activities with the aim of providing guidance to the young entrepreneurs of Gujarat in business. And exports are increasing.
Chamber of Commerce Vice President Vijay Mewawala, Honorary Minister Nikhil Madrasi, former President Ashish Gujarati, Group Chairman Bhavesh Taylor, Chamber Association Liaison Committee Advisor Devkishan Manghani and representatives of various industrial associations were present in the said interactive business growth meeting.
