Surat: Interactive session on ‘Bilateral Trade between India and America’ organized in Atlanta, USA. Loktej Business, World News

South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized an interactive session on ‘Bilateral Trade between India and USA’ in Atlanta city of Georgia state, USA on Sunday under SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84. This session was organized in the auditorium of Gokuldham campus in Atlanta city. India’s Consul General in Atlanta L. was present as the chief guest in this session. Ramesh Babu was present. Attorney at law Mr. Matt was also present with him.

Chamber of Commerce (SGCCI) President Ramesh Vaghasia, Honorary Treasurer Kiran Thummar, Former Honorary Treasurer Bhavesh Gadhia, Indian tourist from Atlanta Bobby Patel, R.C. Patel, Ashokbhai Patel, Chaturbhai Chhabhaya and more than 100 industry leaders were present.

This is the first time that an interactive session has been organized on foreign soil under the leadership of the President of the Chamber of Commerce. The objective of this session was to connect Indians living abroad and businessmen there with the Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber President Ramesh Vaghasia presented SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 to industry leaders in Atlanta, USA. He gave a presentation on how Indians living in America and businessmen there can expand their business by connecting with Indian entrepreneurs. He informed the Atlanta businessmen about the bright opportunities for doing business with Indians and the importance of taking advantage of the online international platform under Mission 84.

Consul General of India in Atlanta L. Ramesh Babu was very impressed with SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84. Welcoming Mission 84, he said that he has already got information about Mission 84 on the website. He said, this is the right time to join hands with Indian entrepreneurs. Also, when the whole world is trying to connect with India, this is the right time for Indian entrepreneurs to increase their exports.

Bobbhai Patel, Mayor of Atlanta, joined the Chamber of Commerce and appealed to all to support and cooperate with the Chamber’s Mission 84 project to benefit its members. He also praised the premises and establishment of the Chamber of Commerce and appealed to Atlanta businessmen to join the Chamber to take advantage of it.

Chamber President Ramesh Vaghasia also gave information about the foreign membership of the Chamber of Commerce. He told that Indians living outside India can avail the facilities of the Chamber by becoming a member of the Chamber.

A question and answer session was also organized in this interactive session. What is the process of investment in India, Gujarat and Surat? Questions related to this were answered satisfactorily and thus all the businessmen present showed interest in importing goods from India. Also, he expressed interest in investing in India. Atlanta businesses also expressed enthusiasm to join SGCCI as foreign members.

Chaturbhai Chhabhaya conducted the program. Many people helped in making this program successful. The entire program was organized over two days. This program will play an important role in strengthening business relations between the businessmen of Surat and Atlanta.
