SBC Cricket Premier League was organized by SGCCI Business Connect Committee of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Sunday from 8 am to 10 pm at Drift, Udhna-Magdalla Road.
The SBC Cricket Premier League was inaugurated by Mehul Patel, coach of the legend team Gujarat Giants. Chamber of Commerce Vice President Vijay Mewawala, immediate past President Himanshu Bodawala along with Yatin Bhakta and Snehal Pachigar, Naresh Yadav and Keur Sahelani were present as chief guests at the inauguration ceremony. Mehul Patel appreciated the various activities being carried out by the SBC Committee of the Chamber for business development as well as physical fitness.
A total of fifteen cricket matches were played between twelve teams namely 7 Colors Paltan, Durga Tigers, Inagic Panthers, HH Dabangs, Nancy Pirates, Radha Krishna Bulls, Sanghani Steelers, Smit Giants, Seasonal Titans, Universal Warriors, UPS Yoddha and Henny Thalaivas. The final match was played between Nancy Pirates team and Henny Thalaivas team, in which Nancy Pirates team won.
An awards ceremony was held after the conclusion of the cricket match, which was attended by Chamber Vice President Vijay Mewawala and SBC Committee Advisors Tapan Jariwala and Paresh Parekh, President Chirag Desai besides 100 committee members. The winning team was awarded a trophy. Full credit for the success of the program was given to the five-member cricket organizing committee. This committee did excellent work under the leadership of co-chairman Nirav Barfiwala.
