Talks on providing long-range missile, military aircraft in progress: Ukraine

Kyiv, Jan 29 (AP) Ukraine and its Western allies are holding “fast track” talks on the possibility of providing the war-torn country with long-range missiles and military aircraft. A top official of the Office of the President of Ukraine said this on Saturday. Mikhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said that Ukraine’s supporters in the West “understand what is happening in the war in reality”, that they know that the aircraft capable of providing cover of armored fighting vehicles to Kyiv have been destroyed. “We need to work with them,” Podolyak said without naming any country.
