Tata Power’s net profit rises 2 percent to Rs 1,076 crore in December quarter

New Delhi. Tata Power’s consolidated net profit increased by two per cent to Rs 1,076 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year. The consolidated net profit of the company in the same quarter of the last financial year was Rs 1,052 crore. The company said in a statement on Friday that its total income has increased to Rs 14,841 crore in the quarter under review, which was Rs 14,339 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
Praveer Sinha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD), Tata Power, said in the statement, “Our core businesses continue to perform well and helped the company achieve its 17th consecutive quarter of PAT (net profit) growth. Is.” The company’s net profit increased to Rs 3,235 crore in the first nine months of the current financial year (April-December, 2023) from Rs 2,871 crore in the same period of the last financial year.
The company said that in the first three quarters of the current financial year, the company’s income increased to Rs 45,286 crore, which is the highest figure for the company during this period. According to the statement, as on December 31, 2023, the company’s operating capacity in the renewable energy segment stood at 4,270 MW, generating 603.1 crore units of green electricity.
