Apart from this, our ambassador present in Tehran has also been asked to return immediately. However, no high level diplomat of Iran is in Pakistan at present. Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan has decided to recall its ambassador from Iran. Also said that the Iranian ambassador will have to leave the country. High level meetings to be held in the coming days have been cancelled.
Now China has also entered into the current developments in Iran and Pakistan. China has asked both the countries to exercise restraint. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said that we asked both sides to exercise restraint, avoid any actions that cause tension and provocation, and work to maintain peace and stability. It is noteworthy that Pakistan is enraged by Iran’s airstrike on the bases of terrorist organization Jaish al-Adl in Pakistan. After this attack, Pakistan has recalled its ambassador present in Iran.
