According to information, an explosion occurred near Sala Khao Township in Central Suphan Buri Province in Thailand near Budhwari (Dec. 17) at around 3 pm at a fireworks factory. Regarding this, Governor of Suphan Buri province, Nattapat Suvanpratip Madhyamanshi, said, “Twenty-three people died in the explosion, Jhala Asuna, due to the explosion, no information has been received about this. Officers are investigating the incident. The factory would have been running legally with valid permits. However, police officials said that there was no damage to the surrounding premises. The explosion caused some damage to the glass windows of a house. Police Lieutenant General Naiyawat Fademchid told AFP that Prime Minister Shretha Thawisin is currently in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. They have been informed about the incident.
