The 25th China International Software Fair will open in Tianjin

The 25th China International Software Fair will be held in Tianjin, north China, from August 31 to September 2. The fair is organized by the China Electronic Information Industry Association, the largest professional event in the software and information technology services sector in China. Recently, in a news briefing about this fair, an official of the organizing committee said that this year’s main theme is to encourage new development by shaping the new ecology of software.
Over 700 guests, including top-level experts and entrepreneurs from the software world, will participate in the opening ceremony of the fair i.e. theme summit and sub-forums. They will deliberate on issues such as basic software, industry software, open source software and application software, and provide wisdom for high-quality development of the software business. They will discuss the future development path of the software industry in a more comprehensive way in the new era.
Along with this, more than 140 domestic and foreign renowned companies will participate in the exhibition. The total area of the exhibition will be more than 12 thousand square meters. The fair will showcase the latest and greatest products and technologies in the software industry.
Note that China’s software and information technology services industry showed excellent performance from this January to this July amidst the difficult economic situation.
Software business revenue continued to grow at double digits and profit growth picked up pace. According to the latest data released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Informatization, software business revenue in the first seven months of this year was 64.57 billion yuan, up 13.6 percent from the same period last year. The total profit of the software industry was 7.37 billion yuan, up 13.4 percent from the same period last year.
It is noteworthy that the income of information technology services in the first seven months of this year was 4.32 trillion yuan, accounting for 66.6 percent of the overall industry income, and an increase of 14.8 percent from the same period last year. In this, there is a trend of rapid growth in cloud computing, big data and information security services.
