The goal is to ensure security and stability… Zelensky reaches Spain to meet European leaders

This comes after US President Joe Biden expressed fears that Republican infighting in Congress could harm US policy on continued aid to Kiev.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he has arrived in the Spanish city of Granada to attend the European Political Community summit. The European Political Community is a forum to promote cooperation among more than 40 countries, established after Russia’s invasion. European leaders gathering in Grenada are expected to assure Zelensky of long-term support, after US President Joe Biden raised fears that Republican infighting in Congress could harm US policy on continued aid to Kiev.
“Our joint goal is to ensure the security and stability of our common European home,” Zelensky said at the conference. We are working closely with partners on enhancing the European security architecture, especially regional security. Ukraine has enough proposals in this regard. He said we will pay special attention to our joint efforts to strengthen the Black Sea region as well as global food security and freedom of navigation. Russia in July pulled out of a deal that had allowed Ukraine to safely ship food products via the Black Sea, traditionally Kiev’s main export corridor.
Ukraine responded by establishing a temporary humanitarian corridor for cargo ships, and many ships have since left Ukraine’s Black Sea ports. Ukraine’s main priority, especially as winter approaches, is to strengthen air defense. We have already prepared the basis for new agreements with partners and are waiting for their approval and implementation, Zelensky said.
