The troubles of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan are not taking the name of reducing. Pakistan’s federal capital police have now booked former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and his close aide Shah Mahmood Qureshi amid non-bailable arrest warrants in the Toshakhana case. Dawn has reported that three separate cases related to terrorism have been registered. According to the report, the Islamabad police registered four separate cases against PTI leaders, workers and supporters on various charges, including the Anti-Terrorism Act, and arrested over two dozen people.

These new cases come at a time when the former PM of Pakistan is already facing a non-bailable arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case. Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi have been held responsible for the action of PTI workers in the FIR lodged at Khanna and Bhara Kahu police stations. The complainants said that the PTI workers threatened the shopkeepers and forced them to close their shops. According to reports, PTI workers declared that they were following the orders of Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

40 unidentified persons, including Hamid Zaman Kiyani, Naseem Abbasi, Sheikh Liaquat and Chaudhary Tariq, have been booked for creating a ruckus and 21 (i) (aiding and abetting), section 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) at Bhara Kahu police station, reports Dawn.
