MumbaiIndian benchmark indices are trading in the red today as well. On Thursday, BSE Healthcare index was the top gainer sectoral index, while BSE Realty index was the biggest loser.

On Thursday morning, the BSE Sensex is trading down nearly 157 points or 0.25% at 65,642 and the NSE Nifty-50 index is down around 33 points or 0.18% at 19,495. Around 1,913 scrips advanced, 1,401 scrips declined and 160 scrips remained unchanged on BSE today.

Top gainers and top losers of BSE:

Larsen & Toubro Ltd., NTPC Ltd. and Tata Motors Ltd. were top gainers on BSE today, while Tech Mahindra Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. and ICICI Bank Ltd. were top losers on the Sensex.

Indices in the broader market traded higher, with BSE Mid-Cap index rising 0.30% and BSE Small-cap index rising 0.43% respectively. Top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. and Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd., while top small-cap gainers were Man Infraconstruction Ltd. and Electrosteel Castings Ltd.

As on 02 August 2023, the market capitalization of companies listed on BSE is around Rs 307 lakh crore. With this, 139 stocks hit 52-week high and 29 hit 52-week low.
