The war between Israel and Hamas continues. The war between the two has entered the 19th day. Türkiye’s big statement on Israel-Hamas war has come out. Turkey has said that those who support Israel will be attacked. Turkey said that those supporting Israel are criminals in the war. Although Turkey is not jumping into this war, a war of words is being waged from its side.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Hamas is not a terrorist organization, but a liberation organization fighting to defend its land. In a speech to his party’s lawmakers in the country’s parliament, Erdogan also urged Israel and Hamas to declare an immediate ceasefire. He further said that Muslim countries should work together for lasting peace in the region. He also urged world powers to pressure Israel to stop attacks on Gaza.

Erdogan also said that Israel has taken advantage of Turkey’s good intentions and that he will not visit Israel as previously planned. In a speech, Erdogan said the Rafah border gate should be kept open for humanitarian aid and the exchange of prisoners between the two sides should be ended immediately. He also expressed disappointment at the “inability” of the United Nations to prevent a war between Israel and Hamas. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 5,791 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since October 7, including 2,360 children. Meanwhile, at least 1,400 people have been killed in Israel since the October 7 attacks.
