Chinese Medicine Day is celebrated every year on 17 March. It is established to celebrate the victory against the abolition of old medicine and the complete denial of traditional Chinese medicine. Its purpose is to promote the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and throughout the world for the benefit of mankind.

Traditional Chinese medicine played an extremely important role in the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, more departments in China jointly issued the implementation plan for the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture and suggestions for innovation interpretation in the new era of traditional Chinese medicine.
