Apart from Japan, sea waves are rising very high in North Korea. At the same time, a tsunami alert has also been issued for the eastern region of Russia. The Japan Meteorological Agency reported earthquakes, one of which measured 7.6, off the coast of Ishikawa and surrounding prefectures at 4 p.m. local time. A severe level tsunami warning has been issued for the Japanese city of Ishikawa and a low level tsunami warning has been issued for the rest of the western coast of Honshu island.
