Subish was also from Kerala and had been living in Abu Dhabi for two years. The newspaper report quoted her family as saying that her 36th birthday was a month later. Subish’s relative said, “It was a collision between several cars in the Al Mafraq area. Subish was sitting on the back seat of the car along with two other persons. His car collided. Subish did not survive.” According to Subish’s relative, two other people traveling with Subish were injured in the accident, one of whom is admitted in the ICU, while the other suffered minor injuries. “The Indian Embassy helped with the necessary paperwork,” she said.
