These organizations claim that Amritpal can be killed in a fake encounter. Amritpal is a leader of Waris De Punjab and is associated with the Khalistan movement. This organization was started by Deep Singh Sidhu who died in 2022. According to Jas Singh of Sikh Federation UK, Sikhs around the world are worried about Amritpal’s arrest.

India accused of discrimination
The Government of India has lodged a strong protest against the incident that took place at the Indian High Commission on 19th March. India has accused the UK of discrimination in security. Raising slogans of Khalistan Zindabad, many Khalistani entered the High Commission and took down the tricolor. The British High Commissioner to India, Alexander W Ellis, was on a visit when the incident took place. In such a situation, his deputy Christina Scott was summoned to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs at 10:30 pm. Before Scott’s call, Ellis posted on his official Twitter account that the ‘disrespectful act’ at India House in London was completely unacceptable.
