Earlier, the intelligence unit of the Ukrainian army claimed without providing any evidence that Russia was planning an attack on the nuclear plant located in the south of its country, which is currently under its control. A statement released Friday by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s intelligence directorate claimed Russian forces would attack Europe’s largest Zaporozhye nuclear plant and then report radioactive leaks, prompting an international investigation.
