New Delhi: Another Vande Bharat Express train is going to start in the country. But Bihar-Jharkhand is again disappointed. This train will run between the two Telugu speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This train will run from Secunderabad in Telangana to the religious city of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. There is always a huge demand on this route. This will benefit the pilgrims who want to visit Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off this train on April 8. This will be the second Vande Bharat train between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Earlier Vande Bharat Express was started between Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam. This train has been very successful and is running with 100% occupancy.

According to South Central Railway sources, the train between Secunderabad to Tirupati can be run via Bibinagar and Guntur. The first Vande Bharat is running via Vijayawada covering Warangal and Khammam. Hence Railways wants connectivity to Nalgonda and Guntur from New Vande Bharat. There is a huge demand for passengers to start Vande Bharat for Tirupati. Thousands of pilgrims reach Tirumala every day. However, the Bibinagar-Guntur sector is yet to be upgraded to 130 kmph. At present, trains run at a maximum speed of 110 km on this route. The Secunderabad-Bibinagar and Guntur-Gudur sections have been upgraded.

Vande Bharat Express: So Vande Bharat Express will run in Kashmir too?

12 hours journey in 9 hours

Presently Secunderabad-Trivandrum Sabari Express and Lingampalli-Tirupati Narayandri Express go to Tirupati via Guntur. This journey takes 12 hours. Vande Bharat Express will cover this route in less than nine hours. It is believed that this train may stop at Nalgonda, Guntur, Nellore and Gudur on the way. Right now 10 Vande Bharat Express trains are running in the country. The first Vande Bharat train was started between New Delhi to Varanasi. The first Vande Bharat train of the new era ran between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Presently these trains are being run on Shatabdi route but in future there is a program to run on Rajdhani route. Sleeper Vande Bharat will be made for this.
