Washington (Uttam Hindu News): Indian-American presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy participated in 42 campaign events last week, more than any other 2024 candidate.
According to USA Today newspaper, the 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur is expected to attend 38 events this week.
During a campaign in Iowa on Friday, he said that the crowd gathering during his campaign inspires him for this.
The Yale Law School graduate, who is worth about $630 million, said he learned hard work from his parents.
“With hard work you can achieve every success,” he told USA TODAY.
Anson Fryerski, who co-founded Strive Asset Management Company with Ramaswamy early last year, told USA TODAY that there is no time for relaxation in Ramaswamy’s schedule.
Frericks, who has known Ramaswamy since high school, said he works all the time.
Ramaswami worked 16 hours a day, Frericks said, and that work culture permeated the entire organization.
He is running fourth nationally in RealClearPolitics’s aggregation of surveys, which shows him with five percent support in the Republican primary.
In the New Hampshire state primary, RealClearPolitics places him in fifth place with seven percent.
“I believe this would be the right way to be elected, not to be disconnected from the people who elected us, but to, in many ways, be accountable to the people we are representing,” he told USA TODAY. “
“I would rather spend time with these caucusgoers and pizza ranches across the state than become a monastic mega-donor retreat,” he said.
