While discussing the past of Bundelkhand, he said that this region was once known for drought and water crisis, but now the situation is changing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Within the next few months, the campaign to provide water to every household in this area will be completed and people will not only get drinking water at home, but also better arrangements are being made to irrigate the fields.

Swatantra Dev Singh further said that water structures are being conserved in the Bundelkhand region under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Irrigation projects are coming into existence to bring water to the fields. Along with this, check dams are being constructed and trees are being planted on the ridges of the fields. These conditions have worked to raise the water level of Bundelkhand.

Minister Singh further said that for the first time this conference of state water ministers has been held. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s emphasis is on water conservation and accumulation, this initiative has been taken in that direction. In this conference, ministers of different states discussed about water harvesting, conservation, need of water, rain water stores, how to manage it. Along with this, the fields should get water and the farmers should be happy, production should increase, along with people should get drinking water, besides this the goal is to save and store water.

Referring to the changing picture of Bundelkhand, Minister Singh said that the coming days will bring more prosperity for Bundelkhand as the implementation of the Ken-Betwa link project is going to start soon. This area is sure to get its benefit. Now there will be no problem of water here, we can understand it in this way. There is a Barwar lake in Bundelkhand, for the first time it was filled with water during the rainy season and for the first time after three decades, the farmers of Gursarain area of ​​Jhansi district got water, the farmers are happy. This is going to tell the changing picture of Bundelkhand.

Swatantra Dev Singh said about Arth Ganga, the ongoing campaign to connect river Ganga with prosperity, that now very less polluted water is being found in Ganga, the cleanliness and purity of water has increased. This is the reason that along with fish and turtles, crocodiles are also seen in the Ganges. There is a plan for organic farming on both sides of the Ganges, which will bring a big change in the lives of the people living on the banks of the Ganges. Anyway, the soil of Ganga is fertile, whether it is cultivated or by people with knowledge.
