We have to make more efforts for national rejuvenation – Dainik Savera Times

Since the beginning of economic reforms, we feel that the pace of society has accelerated. I remember Delhi being a slow-paced society in the 1990s. At that time, whether it was cars driving on the road, or people walking on the road, everyone seemed to be working smoothly. The tune of popular films and music of that time also seemed slow. But today everything has changed. The pace of society is accelerating, people’s work is accelerating and the working efficiency of the government is also improving significantly.

However, a fast-paced society also comes at a cost, that is, everyone needs to work more quickly, and people have to seek out various opportunities more nervously. As a result, people feel that they are more tired than before. And losers in social competition also seem to have greater feelings of disappointment. On the other hand, people of developed countries and some rich oil producing countries seem to be more leisurely than us. They can take three days off per week and more than 100 days a year, while their average salary is much higher than ours.

Why do people’s feelings differ in different countries? This is because we are going through our great national revival. It is well known that both China and India created great civilizations in ancient times and were once the richest countries in the world. At that time, our people also lived a prosperous life that was extremely envious of people in other parts of the world. However, due to the backwardness of science and technology, China and India became victims of imperialism and colonialism in the modern era. Our countries were brutally deprived and we became the poorest country. We missed the wave of the world’s industrial and technological revolution, and our economy fell into backwardness. Whereas people in developed countries can enjoy a comfortable and prosperous life with the rich heritage left by their ancestors.

A nation is like a family. If the upper generation is unlucky, the lower generation will suffer. Our generation is destined to endure greater pressure for future generations. China and India therefore set the goal of industrialization soon after their independence in the late 1940s, and then initiated market-oriented economic reforms. Decades of hard work did not go in vain. Now, China is the second largest economy in the world and India is the fifth largest economy in the world. It requires generations of hard work to enable us to catch up with and surpass developed countries. Otherwise our children and grandchildren will not be able to live a happy life. We will have to work harder for the rejuvenation of the nation.
