Prime Minister Narendra Modi has knocked on the soil of America. PM Modi has gone on US tour earlier also. But this is his first state visit. He has been invited by US President Joe Biden for a state visit. That’s why it is considered very important for both the countries. During this, the Prime Minister is going to participate in many programs. He will also do yoga in New York at 5:30 pm today. For the second time, he is also going to address the US Congress. When PM Modi arrives to address the joint session of the US Parliament, Indian American MP Mr. Thanedar will escort him to the dais.

Thanedar will take PM Modi to the stage

Thanedar, a leader of the Democratic Party, represents Michigan’s 13th Congressional District in Parliament. He has also been invited by US President Joe Biden for the state dinner organized in honor of Prime Minister Modi on June 22 at the White House (the official residence and office of the US President). This is the second time that Prime Minister Modi will address a joint session of the US Parliament. He is the first Indian Prime Minister to do so. Earlier he had addressed the US Parliament in 2016.

America is a land of immigrants, it is a land of opportunity, and this diversity is what makes our country strong. He reiterated his commitment to support a stronger relationship between the United States and India. He told that after the retirement of his father, he had to do many types of work at the age of 14 to help the family. After the death of his father, he also worked as a watchman.
