In particular, self-driving, cycling and hiking have emerged as preferred modes of travel among holidaymakers.
Popular destinations include municipal parks, suburban parks, theme parks, amusement parks, historical and cultural districts, business centers, and major tourist villages across the country. In terms of inbound and outbound tourism, the three-day Qingming Festival holiday welcomed 10.41 lakh inbound tourists and 9.9 lakh outbound tourists, which are very close to the figures for 2019.
