1291 new cases of dengue in Bangladesh, 6 people died

Dhaka (Uttam Hindu News): Bangladesh On Sunday, 1,291 new cases of dengue were reported and six deaths due to it, taking the total number of cases to 301,225 since January this year and the death toll to 1,549. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) under the Health Ministry DGHS has given this information. According to data released by DGHS, during the first 19 days in November, 30,080 more dengue cases were reported after 67,769 people were infected with the mosquito-borne disease last month.
DGHS said the total number of recovered patients in the country is 294,757, including 1,522 patients who recovered on Sunday. Bangladesh saw the highest increase in dengue cases in September. This month, 79,598 new infection cases and 396 deaths were recorded. It is noteworthy that dengue fever, spread by the bite of Aedes mosquito, causes a serious illness which is usually followed by headache, high fever, tiredness, pain in muscles and joints. Symptoms like severe pain, swollen glands, vomiting and rash appear.
