Ankara (Best Hindu News): Strong tremors of earthquake have been felt in Turkey. The magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter scale is 7.8. According to the US Geological Service, the tremors of the earthquake were felt in Gaziantep, southeastern Turkey. According to the Turkish administration, 15 people have died so far. 16 buildings have been damaged. This figure may still increase. Sanliurfa Mayor has confirmed this.

According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was about 33 kilometers (20 mi) from Gaziantep and about 26 kilometers (16 mi) from the city of Nurdagi. It was centered at a depth of 18 kilometers (11 mi).

According to the information, the tremors of the earthquake were felt as far away as Syria. The tremors were so strong that there were reports of damage to many buildings. According to the United States Geological Survey, there is a possibility of many casualties due to the earthquake.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Twitter that search and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the quake-hit areas. We hope that together we will overcome this calamity at the earliest and with the least loss.
