The Foreign Work Conference of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was held in Beijing on 27 and 28 December. On this occasion, Chinese President Xi Jinping, while giving a speech, summarized the achievements and experiences in diplomacy of a big country with Chinese characteristics in the last ten years of the new era and made plans for the present and future foreign work.
The conference said that building a shared future for the human community is the core concept of Xi Jinping’s diplomatic ideology and the goal of major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era. This concept was introduced by Xi Jinping ten years ago.
According to this concept, China will enhance global governance based on common consultation, common construction and common benefits, build new types of international relations, and implement world development initiatives, world security initiatives and world civilization initiatives. China will build high-quality Belt and Road Initiative and encourage various countries to meet challenges and realize common prosperity, so that the world can move towards peace, security, prosperity and progress.
Xi Jinping said that to deal with the series of issues and major challenges present in the world, there is a need for equitable and orderly world multipolarity and tolerant economic globalization. Be it a big country or a small country, whether a developed country or a developing country, all humans are members of the social family. This has shown the attitude of a very responsible country towards the development and future of the entire mankind.
