A fake account of Julius Malema, leader of the opposition party Economic Freedom Fighters, on the social media platform ‘X’ claimed that Ramaphosa had collapsed (after suffering a heart attack) before being admitted to hospital on Sunday.
Speaking at the event in Limpopo, Ramaphosa said his health was good. He said, “The news of my illness and my being in the ICU has been greatly exaggerated. I am absolutely fine and will continue to fight to ensure that our people actually have a prosperous and happy life.” He said, ”I held meetings and then I worked at home (on Sunday) on the instructions of the authorities. to continue. Officials said – We want you to be safe because the next six days are going to be very busy for you as President. He said, “I do not have any disease of any kind.” I didn’t have a heart attack. You can see this is not a fake Ramaphosa, there is no one here who is my lookalike.”
Ramaphosa confirmed that the ANC faces many challenges, with the country going to elections this year.
