Saudi Arabia’s former Justice Minister Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa is scheduled to visit India next week and hold discussions with some top government officials. Leading global voice on moderate Islam and reformist Al-Issa will meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval during his five-day visit beginning July 10.

According to the people cited above, the former Saudi minister is also likely to meet President Draupadi Murmu.
He will also meet the President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and interact with a group of eminent faith leaders at the Vivekananda International Foundation. His itinerary will also include a visit to the famous Akshardham Temple and Jama Masjid for Friday prayers. Sources said that he would also visit Agra. Al-Issa currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and is widely recognized for his leading role in promoting moderate Islam and fostering empathy, understanding and cooperation among people of all backgrounds.
