GCMMF sources said that the prices of Amul milk have increased since Saturday in the entire state including Saurashtra, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

The GCMMF had earlier increased milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in August last year. However, on February 3, the union had increased the prices of milk by Rs 2 per liter in the rest of the country except Gujarat.

In the last few months, an increase of 13 to 14 per cent has been recorded in the prices of animal feed. In such a situation, the cost price of the farmers has increased rapidly. After which the company has now decided to increase the prices of milk in the state. It is worth noting that Amul has increased the prices of milk several times in the last several months.
