US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday spoke to his counterparts from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt amid fears of a crisis in West Asia following Iran’s attacks on Israel, while Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met with Saudi Arabia and Israel. Talked to defense ministers.

The leaders also stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts to find a lasting solution to the crisis in Gaza that provides lasting peace and security for Israel and Palestine, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said. Meanwhile, Biden spoke to Congress leaders on the biggest foreign policy crisis of his tenure.
