Baloch Movement: Baloch’s ultimatum to Pakistan government, took out 1600KM rally, demanded immediate release of prisoners

Thousands of Baloch demonstrated in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. After this demonstration, Baloch had to face police brutality and lathi charge. Baloch have strongly demonstrated in Islamabad against the disappearances and extrajudicial killings of people in Balochistan. The protest of Baloch against the Pakistan government has been gaining momentum for some time because the security forces had killed a 23-year-old Baloch youth, against whom the Baloch people have opened a front.

According to the information, Baloch people started gheraoing Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, after which they also took out a 1600 kilometer long march till Islamabad. This demonstration of Baloch is being led by woman leader Mehrang Baloch. They allege that men from Baloch province are allegedly being made missing. As part of this demonstration, the Pakistan government has targeted the Baloch even before they could reach Islamabad. Under this, the government took a tough stance to stop the march and placed barricades at various places and lathicharged the protesters. Many people have also been detained. According to the information, 200 people including opposition leader Mehrang Baloch have been arrested as soon as they reached Islamabad.

Let us tell you that the protesters demand that the protesters should be released immediately. Whatever charges have been leveled against the protesters should be quashed. The protesters say that if this does not happen then strict steps can be taken. This will be the responsibility of the state administration. Let us tell you that after this incident, human rights organizations, politicians and analysts of Pakistan government have condemned the incidents. On this matter, the government says that all the Baloch people who were detained have been released. Only those people who have not been identified have not been released yet.
