Bhaya has been appointed as a member of the Council of the Administrative Conference of America. The White House said this is one of the new appointments announced by Biden on Wednesday. Bhaya is the co-owner of a well-known law firm in the American state of Delaware. The White House said his work focuses on representing individuals who get into serious trouble due to businesses and unsafe decision making. For the past seven years, Bhaya has been a member of Governor Carney’s Judicial Nominating Commission. Apart from practicing law, Bhaya is very active in Delaware politics.

She is currently a member of the State Executive Committee of the Delaware Democratic Party. A former president of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, Bhaya has been involved in protecting consumer rights in legal matters and ensuring people have access to courts. Bhaya is also a member of the ‘American Association for Justice’ and the ‘American Civil Liberties Union’ and has been trying to get more and more women elected to Democratic offices.

She has been actively involved in fighting for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community and allowing its members to adopt children, seek legal redress when faced with discrimination in the workplace, and allowing people to marry. Bhaya is the first South Asian Indian to be admitted to the Delaware Bar Association. Bhaya still works towards diversity, equality and inclusion in the legal profession and politics. He is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law.
