Big terrorist attack on police station in Pakistan’s Swat, 16 including 9 police officers killed

Two blasts took place in the premises of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) office. A report issued by the office of the Deputy Commissioner Swat said that two consecutive explosions occurred at 8:29 am inside the CTD Police Station inside Kabal Police Lines.
The death toll in the twin blasts at the Kabal police station in Swat rose to 16 on Tuesday. The cause of the explosion is not yet known. A fire broke out even after the explosions that broke the roof of the police station, CTD office and a mosque located inside the station. According to KP police, nine of the dead were police officers and six were civilians, while the others are still being identified. The deceased were identified as Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdullah Khan, SI Ashraf Ali, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) CTD Sher Alam, Constables Taj Muhammad, Asmat Ali, Khalilur Rahman, Bakht Rokhan, Fazal Razeeq; Nahid and 2 years were performed as azaan.
