On March 27, China Media Group (CMG) held an AI new product launch conference during the Boao Asia Forum. Several new AI products created by CMG that interpret Chinese ancient book collections and Chinese classical myths were released to audiences. Journalists from 26 countries around the world witnessed the “beautiful union” between the Chinese nation’s exquisite traditional culture and AI technology.
At the launch conference, CMG launched the multilingual version of China’s first full-process AI micro-mini drama “Chinese Mythology”, translated by CGTN. Its English version was released globally on 27 March. Another very creative work is the series of micro-short dramas “AI Reading Classics” launched by CCTV. The play is based on historical records, literature, agriculture, tea science and medicine such as classics, and uses AI to clearly interpret the enduring code of Chinese civilization. The third new product released this time is “The Legend of Young Hero Nezha”, a full-process AI work prepared by CGTN for overseas youth.
At the conference, Fan Yun, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of CMG and Editor-in-Chief of CGTN, introduced active research in aspects such as AI utilization, subject practice, technological innovation, and application specification.
