This official has told that the work on the rollover of the loan of two billion dollars from China is going on, which was requested by Pakistan. This rollover is very important for Pakistan.

Talks continue with the IMF

China has already deposited a loan of $1.8 billion to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). IMF funding is very important to open the way for the rest of the financial assistance. UAE Ambassador to Islamabad Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al-Zaabi has met the country’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. He claimed that things are happening in a positive direction with the IMF as well. Pakistan’s Staff Level Agreement (SLA) with the IMF is stuck due to lack of financial assurance.
