Chinese New Year celebration in China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone – Dainik Savera Times

The China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, located in Sokhnai Port in Egypt’s Suez province, is full of excitement with Chinese songs, Egyptian folk dance performances and fireworks shows. During the Spring Festival, more than 120 Chinese and Egyptian employees gathered in the auditorium of TEDA Cooperation Zone to participate in the 2024 Spring Festival Party. They celebrated the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon with singing and dancing.

Chinese employees sent festival greetings to the motherland and the people of the motherland through video. While Egyptian employees also wished Chinese friends a happy new year in Chinese.

TEDA Cooperation Zone is a major cooperation project between China and Egypt in the fields of strategic docking, production capacity cooperation, trade and investment, etc.

Xu Chifeng, executive director of TEDA Egypt, said that as a “China-Egypt Cultural Home” honored by the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, TEDA Cooperation Zone organizes a series of activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year, which not only brings together the Chinese Not only brings homely care to the staff, it also hopes that the joy of the Spring Festival will reach more Egyptians.

Ahmed Radwan, an Egyptian employee, said since the establishment of the cooperation zone, Egyptian and Chinese employees have always had a tradition of sharing each other’s festival customs. This has promoted cultural exchange between the two sides, and the cooperation area has created a good platform to promote cultural exchange between Egypt and China.
