Islamabad. A Pakistan High Court on Wednesday fixed April 20 for hearing former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s plea against his possible arrest during the Eid holidays. The Eid holidays will be from April 21 to 25 and all courts and government offices will remain closed during the festival. The registrar’s office of the Islamabad High Court has fixed April 20 for hearing the petition of Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party amid apprehensions of his arrest.
High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq will hear the petition filed by Imran (70) through his lawyer Faisal Chowdhary on Wednesday, Geo News reported. Imran has expressed apprehension in his petition that he may be arrested upon his arrival in Islamabad.
