I am alive… Wagner Military Group shared Prigozhin’s video, worldwide confusion increased

Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, who rebelled against Russian President Vladimir Putin, was buried in St. Petersburg after a plane crash. But now it is being claimed that he is alive. A new video of Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin has surfaced on social media purportedly showing him in Africa days before his death. In a short clip released by a Telegram channel linked to the Wagner Group, Prigozhin can be heard talking about possible threats to his well-being and his safety.

In a video viral on social media, Prigozhin himself is confirming that he is alive. This video has been shot in a moving vehicle. In this they are saying that I am in Africa. According to a Reuters report, his clothing matches the appearance shown in a video released on 21 August. Prigozhin’s private jet crashed on his way from Moscow to St. Petersburg. All 10 passengers and crew on board were killed. This incident is of August 23 and after that the dead bodies were buried.

The video purportedly describes Prigozhin as being in South Africa. The video has also been shared by Anton Gerashchenko, advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. A user has commented on this that we were expecting Prigozhin’s video since his death.
