80th case filed against Imran Khan
The police raids took place after an Islamabad court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Khan in the Toshakhana case. On the other hand, the Lahore Police has registered a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and 400 other party workers on charges of murder and terrorism. The case has been registered in connection with the death of one person and injuries to several others in the clash between the workers and the police during the party’s rally. This is the 80th case filed against former prime minister Khan by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led coalition government in its 11-month tenure.
