The Chief Justice asked Imran about his well being. On this Khan said – I was not arrested, I was abducted. Was thrashed in custody. Chief Justice said – We are ordering you to be released. But you have to condemn the violence that took place in the country after your arrest. After the release, Imran said – I was arrested as if I am a terrorist. Treated like a criminal. Was beaten with sticks. More than 145 fake cases were filed. I do not know what happened in the country after my arrest. It is noteworthy that earlier in Pakistan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi was arrested by the police under Section 3 of Maintenance of Public Order (3MPO). Qureshi is wanted in cases of rioting and arson in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Before his arrest, Qureshi encouraged party workers to continue their struggle for true freedom in the country.
